AmitiAll Privacy Policy
AmitiAll is a mobile application operated by Saba Seifi, an Australian sole trader (“AmitiAll”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the AmitiAll application, website and related services.
1. The short version
Most of the information that makes AmitiAll personal — such as animal profiles, profile photos, saved Moments, learned context, Care Guides and activity progress — is designed to remain on your device.
When you use an AI-powered feature such as Ask, the information needed to answer that request is sent through AmitiAll’s backend infrastructure to an AI service provider. AmitiAll does not sell personal information to advertisers.
Care Guides and achievement cards are not shared automatically. You choose what to share and who receives it using your device’s normal sharing tools.
2. Information you may provide
Animal profile information
You may provide an animal’s name, species or type, age, sex, breed or type, personality descriptions, routines, preferences, everyday-life context and a profile photo.
Ask conversations
When using Ask, you may provide descriptions of behaviour, answers to follow-up questions, corrections, follow-up questions and other relevant context.
Moments
You may choose to save selected conversations as Moments. Moments are a visible history you deliberately keep and are separate from AmitiAll’s automatic personalisation memory.
AmitiAll Memory
AmitiAll may retain useful non-medical context about your individual animal so future interactions feel less generic. For example, it may remember that an animal enjoyed a particular game or needed a smaller training step. Memory is intended as changeable context, not a permanent label or diagnosis.
Train and Do Together feedback
After a training lesson, game or activity, AmitiAll may ask how your animal responded. Feedback such as “Loved it”, “Went well”, “Needed a smaller step” or “Not today” may be stored locally and used to shape future suggestions.
Care Guide
You may create a Care Guide with practical information for a sitter, family member or friend. This can include routines, favourite activities, preferred interactions, settling preferences, household rules, owner-entered food instructions, owner-entered medication instructions, emergency contacts and veterinary clinic details.
3. Photos
If you choose to add a profile photo, AmitiAll may request permission to access your device’s photo library. Your device operating system controls that permission. You can use AmitiAll without providing a photo.
Profile photos are intended to remain on your device unless you deliberately share content containing them.
4. AI-powered processing
Some AmitiAll features use artificial intelligence to provide personalised behaviour education and related responses. Relevant information may be sent from the app to our backend and then to OpenAI. Depending on the request, this may include your observation, relevant profile information, follow-up answers, learned context and selected recent Moments.
AmitiAll’s production AI requests are configured with store: false. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in to data sharing. OpenAI also states that, except for certain endpoints and features, API inputs and outputs may be retained for up to 30 days for service delivery and abuse monitoring unless different retention controls apply.
AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate or context-dependent. AmitiAll is designed to express uncertainty where appropriate rather than presenting behaviour interpretations as fact.
5. Local storage and backend infrastructure
A significant portion of AmitiAll information is stored locally on your device. This may include animal profiles, profile photos, Moments, Care Guides, AmitiAll Memory, training progress, games/activity history and app settings.
AmitiAll uses Supabase for backend infrastructure. The primary AmitiAll Supabase project and database are hosted in Sydney, Australia. Supabase Edge Functions may execute in a region close to the person making the request, so transient serverless processing is not guaranteed to occur only in Australia for every user worldwide.
AmitiAll does not intentionally write the content of Ask conversations, animal profiles, Moments, Care Guides, profile photos or learned context into application logs. Infrastructure providers may automatically retain limited operational metadata such as request timing, status, network information, device/browser information and execution details for security, reliability and troubleshooting.
AmitiAll’s current Edge Function does not write Ask request content into the Supabase database.
6. Overseas processing
Although the primary Supabase project is hosted in Australia, some processing may occur outside Australia through globally distributed infrastructure and third-party services, including OpenAI. The exact location can depend on service configuration and the location of the person using AmitiAll.
7. Purchases and subscriptions
If you purchase AmitiAll Plus, payment is processed by the relevant app store, such as Apple’s App Store or Google Play. AmitiAll does not receive your full payment-card details.
AmitiAll plans to use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements and purchase status. We intend to use RevenueCat’s anonymous App User ID model rather than requiring an AmitiAll account. We do not intend to send RevenueCat your name, email address, animal profile information, Care Guide, Moments or AI conversations.
RevenueCat may process an anonymous app-specific identifier, purchase history, product purchased, renewal status, entitlement status and limited technical information needed to provide subscription services.
8. Sharing
AmitiAll may let you share Care Guides, little-win cards or other content using your device’s native share sheet. Nothing is shared merely because you create it. You choose what to include, which app to use and who receives it.
Once you send information to another person or third-party app, their handling of that information is outside AmitiAll’s control.
9. Why we use information
We use information to provide and personalise AmitiAll, generate requested AI responses, remember useful context, preserve local progress, allow you to save Moments and Care Guides, manage subscriptions, maintain security, investigate bugs and respond to support or privacy enquiries.
10. Information AmitiAll is not designed to advise about
AmitiAll is intentionally not designed to provide personalised veterinary diagnosis, medical advice, medication advice, nutrition advice, poisoning or ingestion treatment, emergency care or treatment for dangerous behaviour. Please avoid providing sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your request.
11. Retention
Local information remains on your device until you edit it, delete AmitiAll data, remove the app or otherwise clear device storage, subject to your device’s backup behaviour.
Third-party providers may retain operational or service data according to their own policies and legal obligations. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs may be retained for up to 30 days in many standard API configurations. Supabase log availability depends on the project plan and service configuration.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. No electronic service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. You are also responsible for the security of your device and for deciding who receives information you share.
13. Access, correction and deletion
You can edit many types of information directly in AmitiAll. The app also provides a user-facing option to delete all AmitiAll data stored locally on the device.
Because much of AmitiAll’s information is stored only on your device, we may not have access to data that exists solely within the app on your device.
If you have a privacy question about information processed outside your device, contact privacy@amitiall.com.
14. Children
AmitiAll is not designed to collect personal information from children unnecessarily. If you are not legally able to consent to the handling of your information in your jurisdiction, a parent or guardian should supervise your use of the service.
15. Analytics and advertising
AmitiAll will update this Privacy Policy and relevant app-store disclosures if production analytics, attribution or advertising technologies are added or changed. We will not describe data as anonymous where it can reasonably be linked back to a person or device.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when AmitiAll’s features, providers or legal obligations change. The current version will display its latest revision date.
